Come explore the woods with me and discover the plants growing all around us!
On this hands-on field botany day, we’ll head into the woods to learn how to identify trees, shrubs, and other plants using the clues they give us—leaves, bark, shape, smell, and more.
We’ll slow down, look closely, learn some of the plants we see again and again, and practice identifying them together. This is a hands-on outdoor experience designed for kids and families, with plenty of exploring, observing, and getting curious about the natural world.
No previous plant knowledge is needed—just come ready to explore!
Kids, parents, and families are welcome. One ticket per family.
Dress for the weather and wear shoes you’re comfortable walking in. We will meet in a designated location.
